Reno, the "Biggest Little City in the World", is the largest city in northern Nevada and the third largest in the state with a population of 241,455. The metropolitan area, with a total population of nearly 426,000, is located on the eastern slope of the majestic snow-capped Sierra Nevada Mountains at an elevation of 4,500 feet.
